Multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and fellow pilgrim, Garry O’Brien managed to live the dream starting his career touring with his hero Damien Dempsey in 2009 in venues such as Roísín Dubh and Vicar Street, following his first headline show packing Dublins capital of music venues, Whelans!
Garry has become a very familiar face in the musician community travelling around the country and abroad entertaining in traditional Irish music in bands such as Raggamuffin in Salou 2011 and The Spark Plugs in Malaga in 2012 and accompanying British vocalist Liam Gray in Harrogate the winter of 2013.
Currently Garry is actively working in the Temple Bar Area with his new polished act, the Fellow Pilgrims every weekend in The Old Storehouse.
